Cape Coral-based Hunter Southwest Productions began production on Nautical World TV in early December.

Nautical World will focus on an industry whose annual U.S. sales of boats, marine products, and services are estimated to total $59.3 billion in 2022. The show’s lineup will feature new boat reviews, along with an inside look at yachts, mega-yachts, and the people who own them.

The show will also highlight stories with a unique nautical twist to them.

Part of the first episode will be filmed at the Aviara boat manufacturing facility at Merritt Island, Florida.

Also, as part of the first episode, NWTV will review the Aviara 32. The company describes its 32-footer as the fusion of progressive design and effortless comfort, the balance of ultimate control and freedom on the water.

“This has been a series we have been eying for quite some time,” says Executive Producer Alan Hunter. “Boaters everywhere are finding ways to spend time on the water and we believe there is a story to tell and important information we can make available to today’s boater.”

Hunter Southwest is hoping to launch Nautical World TV sometime late in the 1st quarter of 2024.
